Essential, essential, essential – what else can I say? Yotto delivered again and his new track “Marisa,” being part of his new two track EP on GREEN, has become the latest essential new tune on BBC Radio 1. While Pete Tong was on holidays, Kölsch took over his show and presented this absolutely amazing piece of music.
The Finnish dude is already something like a constant part of all the BBC Radio 1 dance music shows and it’s also no surprise that he has been supported by several huge artists all around the globe. He is producing absolutely quality stuff and after a lot of releases on Anjunadeep and touring all over the globe, this is his first release on the imprint of Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal.
“Marisa” is just pure magic. A track which is so positive, energetic and soulful that it’s more than just a good piece of music. From my point of view it can be probably played everywhere but while listening to it for about the 20th time and enjoying the sun, I can imagine that it might be perfect for a day party at a beach club or so.
Track number two, “Oscillations” is also a pretty emotional track with a nice warm bass and some dope percussive elements and some great power after its hook.
Please check out this dope release by Yotto – I don’t get anything for it, I just love it :)
