Time for some deeper techno from another Swedish talent most of you won’t know. His name is Anton Björklund, based in Stockholm, and his latest work is called “Duke Raoul”. Besides this track which is really big and true techno we want to give you some more info about Anton, so we did a little interview as well.
As you can see there are plenty of talented producers out there and we hope that guys like Anton will get more attention with posts like this. Hope you enjoy this tune of the 21-years old guy as much as we do it and don’t forget to read some facts about him below.
1). For how long have you been producing music?
I’ve been “playing” with and remixing music since like ’04, but producing some what seriously for about 3-4 years
2). How did you start?
My dad was a DJ back in the days so I guess I inherited it from him. But before ’04 I mainly listened to trance and drum & bass but it wasn’t until I heard the Eric Prydz mix of In & Out that I knew what kind of music i wanted to do.
3). Influences and idols?
Eric Prydz, (The early work of) the Swedish House Mafia members, Depeche Mode, Maceo Plex, Jeremy Ölander and my friends.
But I take inspiration from all kinds of music, like The RZA, swizz beatz, The Jet Age Of Tomorrow, 16Bit, Roy Ayers and Sukh Knight to name a few.
4). Favourite Genre?
I’m an all eater but great techno beats it all
