Last saturday, it was the 16th of October and actually it was my birthday, me and a couple of friends went to Hannover to party and celebrate my birthday. This time Sebastien Drums ,who recently had some good collaborations during the last month like “Tweet it” with Avicii and Norman Doray or “My Feelings for you” with Avicii, played there.
“Dance Couture” took place at Roneburg, so it was my second time there after the gig with Avicii in may and I have to say it once more: This place is damn beautiful. It’s such a nice off location
We arrived at the club at about 11.30 and the resident was already heating up the dancefloor with some good tracks like “Freak” by Ivan Pica, “The Man With The Red Face” by Mark Knight and Funkagenda or a funky mash-up of “Thriller”.
At about 1.15 am Sebastien Drums started his set. He had chosen “My feelings for you” as his first track which worked for sure pretty well because everyone knows this track and the whole crowd began to scream when he started. During his very sweetl set he played tracks like “Miami 2 Ibiza”, “One” – but the cheesy vocal version -, a not released and big sounding remix of “Chase The Sun” , “Pump up the Volume” by Sebjak and Richard Grey and of course some older stuff like “Together” by Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso or a “Watch the sunrise” bootleg.
He also played the “Barbra Streisand” tune of Ducksauce aka Armand van Helden and A-Trak. It was the first time I heard it at a party so I was really flashed. I mean I’m also flashed when I hear it at home because it’s so simple and damn catchy but it’s definitly something different when you’ll listen to it in a club and everybody is celebrating it
I recorded a little bit but the quality is not very good…
At about 4 am he finished his set and in my opinion the gig was very good. He played a really nice set, there were no snobbish people, everybody enjoyed the music and I had a great b-day
I also had the chance to took a picture with Sebastien Drums after his gig but I didn’t have time to talk with him
All in all it was a very good evening. I have to thank my friends for the presents, wishes and the nice evening and of course Chris and Fadma for arranging some stuff for me
I will definitly be there on the 6th November when RAE will be playing at Roneburg.
